When losing feels like winning, we won.

We didn't realise that we were ARSENALISTIC today.
What a splendid win.
We tasted victory for the 2ND time.
An encore match with leon's team 2, with more vs players, prove to be the turn of the tide.
With the new signing, #19 FAIZAL, scoring the first two goals, we took a 2-0 lead.
However, we conceded one, with Zahiri scoring an own goal from a corner kick.
Then Khabir increase the lead to 3-1.
And Shafie continued the fine run to make it 4-1.
However, we were gunned down by 3 goals just nearing the end of 1st half.
4-4 and time is running out.
As thoughts of drawing were on our minds, everything was changed by one swift attack.
Haikal, Shafie and Melson's combination play from the right wing resulted in Haikal's splendid finish.
Melson passed the ball to Haikal and then he passed on to Shafie before they 1-2ed and he slipped through their defence before toe-poking it into the net.
So the score was 5-4 to ashfc at the interval.

Before the start of 2ND-half, the players were filled with awe by un magnifique rainbow.
And then taunting of "IRON MAIDEN and MALMSTEEN" by the crowd forced someone from the left wing to switch to the right.
Faizal's dummy was the S**.
He tricked almost ever player although he cant cross or do anything much.
That's what forwards are, keeps scoring and camping.
However, for the 2nd-half, we bagged 4 more goals, while the opponent only managed 2.
It seems that charles have not been that effective as usual, as a forward, who tries to score in almost every match.
Ever since he changed his boots and dropping back more, his more inefficient then.
Maybe he left his scoring boots at home and should not have bought his new boots.
Lucky enough, today he tapped in one goal and widen the lead to 6-4.
Haikal continued his beautiful runs, and scored another spectacular goal to maintain a 100% goals per match.
9 goals in 9 matches, and he remained unthreat to be the top scorer of the team.
We were then 3 goals ahead, 7-4.
Further into the game, the opponent had conceded an own goal by Firdaus, through our corner kick, leaving broadening the gap to 8-4.
By then, all were confident enough that there's no way they could comeback and we had already win it.
However our complacency and our weakness in central defence proved to be costly as the opponents scored 2 quick goals after their own goal.
That leaves us only secured with a 2-goal lead.
We dominated more than half of the game, in fact possession was 9/10Th of the law.
The ball was always at their half, only occasionally cleared to ours.
And once again, we scored because of a corner.
Zahiri drove the ball in from the left corner kick leaving the opponent speechless about how he could score from there.
I don't think it was a banana kick.
The ball was just right at the right time.
That was the last goal of the match leaving us to trash them by 3.
FINAL SCORE:9-6 TO AFC.

WHAT A LOST!!!

Earlier on before the match, everyone was like so confident of winning as the possible lineup of leon's team was almost all non-soccer players except for SHAHDAN(MOM).
We should not have our first laugh, as we did not get our last laugh.
err ok wtv.haha
We should learn a lesson from this game, as the results was unexpected.

THIS was what some of our players said.
note to team: tomorrow marks the road to redemption. a loss for ashburton fc will be beyond belief and i expect a win of at least 3 goals to nothing no less. er, i talking on behalf of shafie here.

LOL NO OFFENCE.

However, last minute contacts made LEON bring in about 5 VS players.
BUT still we were playing better than them at the start.
In fact we took the lead by haikal's first goal of the match.
And melson widen the lead of 2-0 not long after.
However, then the other team strike back.
By half-time, we were down by 3-2.
Our weaknesses are basically from set pieces, especially corners.
They scored mostly from it.

By second-half, the scores went up, each teams scoring 2 goals.
Haikal played well and better off other games and his hard work paid off as he celebrated a hat-trick.
Melson scored one for us too.
Their players played abit dirty and rough and sometimes free kick were not give to us.
FINAL SCORE: LOSE 4-5

POST-MATCH COMMENTS:
Rumours of HAFIZ returning to the team after AWOL came true.
And eventually he was a super-sub.
Despite being injured for playing in the adidas challenge, he strived on and played for the last 10 mins, replacing shakur as a left back too.
Though he can't run, he cleared the ball using takraw techniques and his aerial ability is a bonus to our team.
And charles had left his scoring boots at home, when he wore his newly bought mercurial vapor 3 boots.
It was definitely not seasoned.
SO all his shots went astray to the top-right side from their post.
Ammar was as ever hardworking for that match and he had 3 chances.
However all his shot went to the left and once blocked by our own teammate, haikal.
HAHAHA.
Shafie was always arrogant and he could not accept what others have to say about his performance.
And ahmad zahiri was abit lazy too for a striker as our keeper had pump but he didn't chase the ball.
No comments for the back four and keeper.

The team actually had trouble sorting out the midfielders and strikers positions as no one could play left-mid today. It was kinda a 4-6 formation with the fact that both MF and ST played in the same areas.
Oh well this was to sum up today's match and hopefully lesson learnt.
So MOM for our team should be haikal, as he was the first player ever to score a hat-trick in a match for ashburton fc.

That's the end of our broadcast for today.
We'll see you people next time.
The management signing off,
good night.
